Child & Adolescent Therapy
Mentalization-Based Treatment
Kyle is specifically trained in Mentalization-Based Treatment for children and adolescents — an evidence-based approach with strong outcomes for young people experiencing suicidal thoughts, self-injurious behaviors, and emotional instability. This work focuses on helping youth develop their reflective capacity, understand their emotions, and build stronger relationships with caregivers and peers. Treatment is collaborative, age-appropriate, and deeply attuned to each young person's developmental stage.
What to Expect
Therapy with young people is active, engaging, and developmentally attuned. Sessions may incorporate play, creative expression, and structured activities alongside conversation — all designed to help children and adolescents build their reflective capacity in age-appropriate ways. Parent and caregiver involvement is an integral part of the process.
